April Favourites!

Heeey everyone :) so today I wanted to share the things I have been loving this month. This month was definitely a month which made me try some new things and just new combinations in general which is always fun :)

1) Naked Palette (£37.00)
Urban Decay's Naked Palette has been in my collection for just under a year, so although it isn't a new find I have been experimenting with it quite a bit this month. I used to just reserve this palette for special occasions when I first bought it and now I realised how stupid that was. I have been loving the colour 'Smog' this month - I think it is an awesome everyday colour for me as it gives a golden sheen when the light reflects off it. The formulation of the Urban Decay eye shadows are one of the best I have encountered, the longevity and texture are also both wonderful.

2) 2True Twist 'n' Line Eye Definer (In shade 3, £1.99)
This is a new product for me, I don't think I have ever bought anything from 2True line before (It's available in Superdrug). I wanted to try coloured eyeliner since I think it is an easy way to transform your make-up into something more fun for spring and summer without being too ostentatious. I picked this one up because of the texture (it glides on really smooth), the actual colour (which is more of a deeper blue than what the photo shows), and because of the nib (which is the small enough to line your eyes precisely). I am sooo glad I bought it (that's why it's in this blog :P), the wear time of this eyeliner is pretty good considering the price I paid :) Since this was a massive success I will now venture more into the world of coloured eyeliners :) I paired this with the colour 'Smog' and I think they work really nicely together.

3) Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal (in shade 001 black, £3.99)
I have heard so many things about this eyeliner that I decided to buy it and I am so happy I did! This is awesome, it stays on all day on the waterline and so I would recommend it just for that sole factor. However I have been tight-lining my upper lashes with this and I have to say that I love how it looks. It instantly gives the effect of fuller lashes and makes whatever eye-shadow you are wearing stand out. I actually prefer just tight-lining my upper lashes than putting eye-liner on since much more of your eyelid is visible. This product is an all round win for me!

4) Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious (£9.99)
I have to say that I am a Maybelline 'The Falsies' type of girl. I didn't think anything would compare to it. Despite that, I have actually really been liking this mascara, it holds a curl and it makes my eyelashes look thicker. This mascara is also waterproof and I swear nothing will make it budge! so it's perfect for everyday wear - especially with warmer weather coming soon! Plus the packaging is definitely something special:)

5) O.P.I Nail Polish in 'Not So Bora-Bora-ing Pink' (£6.94 - available on Amazon)
Since I have been travelling this month I wanted a colour that was suitable for just anything and everything that i might do. Pink - the ultimate colour for lazy days and so it's my go-to colour every time I just want something normal. The shade is soooo awesome- it's a perfect dusty rose colour which compliments all skin types. O.P.I is lovely anyway - this polish wouldn't budge even after a few days which is remarkable for me.

6) Revlon Multi Care Base and Top Coat (£6.49)
I really wanted to buy a base coat for my nails and when this product claimed to do both I was sold. I have to say I think Revlon are quickly becoming my favourite high street brand. They just know how to get it done. Anywaaaay since I paint my nails so often, I wanted to prevent them from yellowing and so far using this product I haven't had any problems. This polish is fast drying and just an all round win for me! It is everything I needed and more :)

7) L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purify Micellar Solution (£4.99)
This has been my favourite this month because it removes make-up so easily that it isn't a chore. I would definitely pick this up if you are in need of something simple that works without doing extra crazy things. This is a multi-purpose product too - I feel like you can use this before you wash your face to remove make-up and after as a toner. When I first bought this I was doing the latter but now I use it before I wash my face just to prep my skin for being cleansed.

I hope you liked my April favourites! Be sure to tell me what you think about any of the products mentioned and anything you would like me to try!
Thanks for reading :)

My Top 5 Nail Colours for Spring

Heey everyone :) So today i wanted to share my top 5 nail polish colours for Spring. This Spring i am mixing it up a little (which you will see down below). There isn't really a theme going on however most of the colours are kinda muted and so will look awesome no matter what you are wearing, especially since Spring and Summer means brighter coloured clothes! Anywaaaay enough with the rambling and on to the coloursss :)

From Left to right: So Much Fawn, Chinchilly, Sew Psyched, Duchess
and Hide & go chic

1) So Much Fawn by Sally Hansen (£6.99)
This is my first time actually buying a Sally Hansen nail polish, the colour of this nail polish was the exact shade i have been looking for these past few months. I wanted to find the perfect pink shade for my skin tone. I think that this is it (for now - the search will never end :P ). A pink is a must have in any season but will look wonderful this Spring and Summer. Although this looks wonderful on pale skin too, i believe a tan would make you appreciate it even more :) The nail polish brush on this colour is masssive which makes painting your nails a piece of cake.

2) Chinchilly by Essie (£7.99)
I feel like most people are looking at this grey and thinking...that's so dull. BUT, i can assure you this was picked simply because grey matches with practically every colour and so i think this is absolute must have. I mean, think of all the colours you will wear - pinks, blues, greens, purples etc. I can tell you that Chinchilly by Essie will complement all of those and you will never regret buying it.

3) Sew psyched by Essie (£7.99)
As soon as i saw this colour i was drawn to it. There is something so wonderful about this colour, i have never seen anything like it before and so i had to have it. I think this will be awesome for Spring as it is something which deviates from the norm as this is a lovely olive shade (with a really subtle sparkle). The muted colour makes this a wearable colour for any occasion. The formula of all the Essie nail polish's are amazing they last a good amount of time, they go on super easy and they dry pretty quick too.

4) Duchess by BarryM (£3.99)
I don't actually own this colour, this is actually my flatmates nail polish which i randomly tried one day (and still continue hog). Oh my gosh i feel like if i had to wear a colour for the rest of my life this would be it. This would be perfect for Spring as it is like a sparkling ancient pink (bordering on nude for me) colour which will look so nice with anything you will be wearing. Although I'm not a fan of textured nail polishes, it actually works for this colour making the sparkles look 3D. Another benefit is that textured nail polishes don't chip as fast sooo it's an all round awesome nail polish.

5) Hide & go chic by Essie (£7.99)
This Essie polish was actually released this Spring and so i was keeping my eye out for it. The colour of this nail polish is beautiful - it will compliment every skin tone. It is the perfect medium from not being too bright nor too dark. This is the colour i would wear if i wanted to make a bold statement with my nails. Although i put on two coats of this polish in the photo - it certainly isn't needed as it is so pigmented. This was certainly my favourite out of the entire Essie Spring Collection 2014.

Soooo, these are my Top 5 Sping nail polishes :) I hope you like them as much as me. Be sure to leave a comment telling me what colours you are wearing on your nails this Spring :)

I thought i would add one last picture because it's so pretty.
Thanks for reading :)
