Hey!
So today I am going to be doing a review on the much hyped Maybelline Forever Strong Super Stay Gel Nail Colour (which is quite the mouthful). Sometimes with products that are hyped about too much it raises my expectations so when I do get around to trying them I am left disappointed (like the Michael Todd set which you can read about here).
So I bought this product because of the colour firstly since I have been looking for a quasi-neon/pastel purple that would complement my skin-tone and I gravitated towards this one quite a few times before I took the plunge and bought it (incase you were wondering the shade is in Surreal). Duuude, this is exactly what I was looking for! I'll list why below :)
-Pigmentation - The first time you apply this you know, that this is going to be amazing, one coat actually could be enough if you were in a rush - it's that pigmented.
-Application - when you apply this polish it gives an even application which I love, I hate it when nail polishes are streaky or just don't have a nice texture - it makes it a pain to apply it, especially if you are in a rush.
- Drying time - So this polish isn't the fastest drying nail polish but I think it is still quite quick, I feel comfortable writing this post right now and I applied this polish 30 minutes ago and it's already dry to the touch. However I still wouldn't do too much fiddling about after 30 minutes.
- Colour - The whole line of these nail polishes have awesome different colours that are just amazing and will suit everyone.
-Lasting power - Okay, so this is the one that everyone has been waiting for, and I can say that this nail polish lasts a long time. The longest I have had it on was for 5 days with no chips - I had to take it off after the 5th day because I was going to work but honestly the lasting power is amazing. My nail polish chips like crazy and so 5 days without no chipping is amazingly awesome in my eyes. I think it could actually last the whole 7 days.
- Price - I would probably pay a higher price for this nail polish because of the formulation, and so I think it is a bargain at £4.49 (and with Boots and Superdrug you can always get a deal), it is slightly higher than the average drug-store nail polish but it definitely is worth that extra pound or two.
Thanks for reading this review :) I do really love this formulation and I would urge everyone to try it :) I don't really have a bad thing to say about it either :)

Thanks :)
