2 essential products for healthier hair

Hair used to be such a neglected part of my routine. I have loads of products to use on my hair, but it's so easy to forget to use them! Today I wanted to dedicate a post to the two products which has made the most difference in the appearance of my hair...

The first product is the Percy & Reed  Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery (£20.00/150ml). That name is seriously long. I actually got this in Elle magazine and just fell in love. This is a cream mask that you leave in your hair overnight and wash out in the morning. Applying a cream to your hair seems so odd at first, but this sinks in quickly and doesn't leave residue which is ideal! I use like a walnut size and apply mainly through the mid-lengths to the roots of my hair. When I wash this out I can still feel the product in my hair which I like as it's continually conditioning my hair until the moment I wash it out. The effect is silky soft hair that is so weightless that you feel like you belong in a shampoo advert! The smell of all Percy & Reed products is amazing, it's so hard to describe but it's just fresh smelling. 

The second product I am going to mention is the LABEL.M Protein Spray (£14.25/250ml). This protein spray was kindly gifted to me by my best friend and it's the best heat styling spray that I have ever used. It really nourishes the hair so that the effects of heat damage is practically undetectable and I've noticed that my hair just looks more healthier, especially at the tips. My hair cut looks fresher for longer thanks to this product. I use this religiously so the massive size is useful, as I do reach for it on an almost daily basis and it's just brilliant. It smells lovely too, like a muted jasmine and vanilla which is the perfect aroma as it's a fragrance that you never get sick of. I also like the way this mists out, it's a very fine mist that targets a large portion of the hair and so I don't have to use tons of this product. I have medium length hair that is more on the thick side and I only use around 4-5 sprays.

Both of these products are the ones I gravitate towards when my hair needs some health and life injected back into it. I just love both of these products as they really do just help the overall condition of my hair with the least amount of effort, which is all I'm looking for! If you haven't tried these, I would definitely recommend it as makes taking care of hair more of an therapeutic experience rather than a chore!

3 nail polishes for the girl on the go...

We have all been there; you have an event coming up in the evening and your nail polish is chipped like you've been wearing it for a week when it's just been three days - what do you do? I hate those situations! You need a polish that looks worthy of coming out of salon,  that is quick in the application and also the drying time. Well, I have you sorted. I don't have one polish to share with you guys, but three! Take from this the colours that I usually go for in these situations and more importantly the formulations of the polishes themselves, because when the clock is ticking, you can't be playing around...

1) Sephora Formula X Nail Colour 'Brain Power' ($10.50/12ml)

The Sephora Formula X polishes are awesome when you are in a hurry, gliding on smoothly which makes applying another layer of polish is ridiculously easy. You know when you are in a hurry and when applying another layer of polish you end up dragging the last layer a bit because you didn't have enough product on the brush? Just me? Well anyway, applying this product is just a piece of cake and very very fool proof! This is in the shade 'Brain Power' which is a lovely nude colour that will save you for any occasion! I would recommend this to anyone who has difficultly applying polish!

2) OPI Nail Lacquer 'Not so Bora Bora -Ing Pink' (£12.50/15ml)

I never really got the hype around OPI, they aren't exactly the cheapest product. But when I got my hands on this product, I could see why people gravitate towards it. The formula is very thin, but in a good way because it dries in no time at all - I would say this is the best, out of these picks, for drying time. However, I don't think you could just work on one coat for this, it's not that pigmented. But even then two layers of polish would still be done in less than 5 minutes. So if you are really late to something, then I would suggest grabbing a bottle of OPI to get you through the day! The shade I have is a rouge pink colour - something that adds colour and femininity without going overboard!

3) Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polish '313 Rita Rouge' (£2.99/ 8ml)

This colour is for the special occasion evening. It's a deep red toned mahogany that just oozes class and confidence. It's the cheapest out of all three polishes, and is just an awesome polish for both nails and toenails. What I love about this polish is that it creates a gel effect on the nail, so it's thicker than the last two polishes but has the best finish because you are left with this glossy, pigmented shade in one coat. Despite being thick, this dries down quickly too and so you can rely on it - I love taking this one on holiday! I don't think you can go wrong with a dark colour for an occasion! 

These nail colours will work well for lots of skin colours and they also suit most occasions too! So it's a win-win situation, whether it's a meeting with your boss, shopping with the girls or having a night out, your nails can be in tip top condition!

I love Essie and BarryM as brands but I was really focusing more on the quick drying aspect and the polishes I gravitate towards when I'm in a rush! Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed reading my picks for the girl on the go, I would love to know what your top picks would be!

Saviour Skincare: La Roche-Posay

When I started blogging about make-up and skincare, my skin wasn't happy with the constant use of new products. As my skin got worse I was actively trying to solve the problem by buying more and more skin-care, I literally would spend loads, because if it was expensive it was bound to work right? Wrong. Switching and changing my skin-care was the worst thing I could do in that situation, but recently I've discovered a brand that actually does live up to their claims and I cannot even express how glad I am to have finally tried this brand out. La Roche-Posay is a Godsend to me and I intend to tell you why.

I bought a cleanser, a moisturiser and also a zinc sulphate spray when La Roche-Posay was on offer in Boots (3 for 2 is hard to resist). I wanted to pick and choose what I think would have suited my skin, but I know they do a three step kit for problematic skin (see here) which is good for people who are indecisive. 

The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel for Oily Sensitive Skin (£11.00/200ml) is a cleanser that smells so clean and fresh, I was in love at first sniff. This product cleans your face without being overly stripping, so it's really good for oily skin. I use this after I have taken my make-up off so it can remove any excesses of dirt and make-up and just cleanse my face. You only need a pea sized amount, a little goes such a long way and it lathers up nicely too. It's a fuss free, one minute cleanse, what is not to like? See here for more information.

After I have cleansed my skin I then reach for the La Roche-Posay Serozinc (£8.50/150ml), this spray contains zinc sulphate in and so is designed to reduce shine and excess oil while helping problematic skin become calmer. I spray this on a cotton round pad, because I feel like the product will last longer that way and I'm useless at spraying my face evenly. It's so soothing and cool on the skin, it feels amazing morning and night and leaves your skin feeling even more clean in a breathable way. Usually I'm against toners since I don't use cream cleansers, but this one actually does calm my skin. I need to bulk order this spray because I love it. More information here.

The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + anti blemish cream (£15.50/40ml) is widely spoken about along with Serozinc, claiming to get rid of imperfections, and by jove it really does. I used to have a lot of 'under the surface spots' and bumps and they are almost all gone, thanks to this and Serozinc. This product is really lightweight and so is perfect for the oiliest of skins, but is still nourishing for drier skin types. It's actually a really nice primer to use underneath make-up, smoothing out the canvas and making the skin look more plump and hydrated. This doesn't contain SPF which is a negative and a positive, negative because I'm lazy and having a do-all product saves time and money, but it is a positive because this is a moisteriser in its simplest form, they haven't added anything unnecessary and that makes me love this product even more. If you suffer from problematic skin, seriously give La Roche-Posay a try because it's worth it and I just really feel like it impacts the root of the problem. As a girl who suffers from bad skin too, I know I would have paid a lot more money for these products because when you are in that situation you just want something that works. La Roche-Posay worked for me, and I'm going to keep buying these products because why change something good? I swear there is something in the France water...

Kiehl's: My Skincare Saviours

Hi guys!

So this post has really been delayed for a long time and I can't explain why because the products I have to share are phenomenal and work so well but I think I just wanted to make sure that they did work before sharing them. I bought two products from Kiehl's in June and I have now totally used one up and the other is still going strong so I thought perhaps now is a good time to review these products.

Before I start this review I want to tell you that around June my skin went through a horrible reaction to something that I couldn't pin down exactly so even when I changed some things around in my skincare the effect from reaction wasn't going away. I would get hyper-pigmentation from spots and my skin literally felt damaged - the texture was just awful. I know that skin renews itself every month so I felt that I had to help my skin as much as I could just so that it could get back to normal quicker. So that's why I bought these products:

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (£36.00/30ml)

So the first problem I had to address was the hyper-pigmentation and I heard a few good reviews about this product so I thought I should give it a try. This is great, it does work but you won't see a difference overnight. I first saw a difference about 3 weeks after I bought it and I used it continuously day and night until about 3 days ago (when it finished). Although I am really happy with this I don't know if I would purchase a second bottle or if I would like to try something else. But I was happy that a product was specifically designed for dark spots and did actually reduce the appearance of it. I wear this product twice a day: in the morning it's the first thing I put on after I have cleansed my skin and because it is a serum it sinks in really quickly and feels light on the skin; be sure to wear SPF after applying this in the morning because if you are using a product which does aim to fight the pigmentation on your skin then being in the sun will actually make those area's darker. Even though the sun isn't exactly out I wouldn't risk not putting SPF on because technically the sun is still out even though you can't see it. I would give this product 8/10. 

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentreate (£36.00/30ml)

So the major problem I had to tackle was the broken skin that felt damaged and needed to be repaired. I bought this a week after buying the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution because I thought it would address the problems I was having. I was right. This is my holy grail skincare item that I will keep on repurchasing because it is amazing at everything - improving texture, reducing spots and just imperfections in general. It's crazy. Honestly, this product somehow makes you look better every single morning after you have used it. Any problem area's that needed some help are honestly better the next morning. On the bottle it says it 'visibly restores the appearance of skin by morning' and that's exactly what it does. I cannot recommend this product enough because it works the next day - even scoring a sample is enough to show you the benefits. It contains a bunch of essential oils which work magic and it's the best thing I have bought. I have half a bottle left and I have been using it since June, I even took this to Milan because 8 days without it seemed unbearable. I apply this at night after I use the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution - instead of going in with a moisturiser, I have oily skin so the Midnight Recovery has enough moisture in it to not dehydrate my skin. It's an oil product so a few drops is enough for your whole face. I massage it in for around 3 minutes and then I go to sleep and wait for this to work its magic. I found that using this made the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution work better too so I think this is  a must have in general. I would rate this as 10/10 because it's amaaazing. 

So as you can see that shopping splurge back in June was very successful and Kiehl's to me is a brand that delivers on what they claim soooo I would highly recommend trying their products because I know they have a lot of best sellers. Plus this stuff has lasted me a while so you do get your moneys worth for sure.

Saviour Products You Need To Have: Oils!

So today I am going to be talking about a ton of oil products which I think every one should have and also one that you should stay away from! I was going to make this an 'Every Girl Should Have' post buut I think some guys could benefit from this too. I personally love using oils because they are a really quick and effective way of adding moisture to your body without being too greasy (you'll see what I mean). I will use at least one oil product a day - that is how obsessed I am. Also, it's November now and using something a bit more heavy duty like an oil will really benefit your skin and hair from the harsh weather sooo I guess this is good timing!

Hair

I think this is one of the first oil product I bought for myself and it is Avon's Advance Technique Moroccan Argan Oil (£5.50/30ml) and let me say after trying many more since then, this one is still the one I reach for. I love the fact that you can use it with damp hair (which is what I usually do) and I just rub the oil in my hands to warm up the product and then distribute it more towards the ends of my hair to condition it (especially if you know you are going to be styling it like crazy that day). Another way I love to use this is by leaving it as an overnight treatment for when I know I have no time to condition my hair the next morning - it's like cheating but you are preparing for it. I really like that you can use this on dry hair just to add in a healthy shine - I love that it doesn't make your hair look greasy, I apply this in the same way as I explained earlier although I would use less product because it's just for shine rather than intense conditioning.

I'm going to add something that you should stay away from too and that is the L'oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Mist (£9.99/100ml). This product actually feels like oil when you spray it on your hair - I find this really odd because it is such a fine mist but even so I wouldn't apply this directly onto my hair because too much comes out. I swear 3 mists are enough for my entire head. I only ever use this at night and that's because I want to use it up. I would stay clear of this product and go for the Avon one instead.

Body

I think it is the body oils that actually made me realise how effective and quick oil can really be. Half a year ago I purchased Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturising Body Oil (£5.10/250ml) and I have never regretted it. I was really really bad at moisturising and I wanted to make myself get into a routine of conditioning my skin when I got out of the shower and this product actually made me a lot better at giving my skin the moisture it needed. It smells like vanilla and chocolate - so it's a semi-subtle scent that is really nice and easy to enjoy. I use this as soon as I am dry after showering - I pour some of the product into my hand and just massage it into my skin - it does absorb really quickly because it's a nice lightweight formula and it also doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. I tend to put on my dressing gown straight after anyway to be sure it's sunk in properly while I do my hair or make-up.

Another one I can recommend for ease is Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil (£7.49/150ml) I find that this works well too and I like that it has a spray so the time applying the product is reduced and it's really easy to blend it in so it's good when you are really in a hurry. The shape of the bottle makes me feel like I am using it up really fast though!
If I had to choose one I would choose the Palmer's one because I feel that it lasts longer on the skin and I enjoy the scent a lot better but both are good picks :)

Facial
This is when I got obsessed with oils. Having oily skin, I never would have thought that this day would come but I was so wrong. I love facial oils - they have literally changed my life and I don't think I can live without them. I have wrote a few posts about The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (£10.00/200ml), words cannot explain how much I love this product - my make-up literally can be off in under 30 seconds. I think I love it because I don't have to tug at my skin for my make-up to come off - it is honestly like a massage (I do tend to massage it in for a few minutes) - I would pay a lot more money for this product because of how luxurious it is. Although it is an oil cleanser it feels more like silk than oil - it doesn't feel icky or nasty at all, honestly if you are looking for a make-up cleanser that works then this is the product for you.
This next product is one I am going to do a feature on in the next month or so and it is the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate  (£36.00/30ml). This is amazing - my skin went through a really rough patch over summer (I think I was allergic to something that I tried) and the texture of my skin went so bad that I had no idea what to do. This honestly made the recovery time go a lot quicker - every single day (even now) when I put this on I will see a difference in my skin the next morning. It is phenomenal. It basically contains a lot of essential oils that just help to repair and sooth the skin and I cannot live without it. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone who is having the same problem or if you want something that will make a difference to the appearance of your skin in general.

So as you can see I am really into oil products :) I do use them on a daily basis and I think they do the job well - looking over what I have wrote I found that with hair and body it was the cheaper oils that I preferred - so I think I wouldn't go that crazy price wise with those. But facial oil is something I will spend money on, even though The Body Shop Camomile Oil isn't that expensive, for facial care it is the balance of oil and general goodness that is essential rather than pure moisturisation.

Every Girl Should Have: Lip Care

Hey guys :) 

So it's time for another 'Every Girl Should Have' post and today I am going to be talking about Lip Care! I know it might be kinda dull but the thing is: it is something that every girl should have :) 

Lip Care is so important since the skin on your lips are really really thin and so they need all the help they can get. I feel like practically any problem concerning your lips can be solved by some sort of lip balm. Personally, I use a lip balm or butter twice a day - at night I totally load up so my lips will be smooth in the morning. 

These are two that I enjoy:

The Body Shop Chocomania Lip Butter (£4.00/10ml)

Okay so technically this is a lip butter, but to me it's the same thing, anything that helps sooth and soften is kinda a balm right? I love love love this product, I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't got any actual problems concerning their lips but just want something nice to soften and condition their lips. On the lips it looks kinda like a clear gloss but without all the fuss and stickiness - which is why I love it so much. It also smells divineee :) 

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm (£2.99)

I was totally on the Baby Lips bandwagon when it came out - I actually even remember getting my first one in America last August. I feel like Baby Lips are like to the easy go-to lip balm, in that they just feel so nice on the lips and are available in whatever form you like, so if you want a hint of colour then there is a baby lips for you out there. My version is called 'peach kiss' and is a peachy nude shade with a slight shimmer to it, I love it, to me it's like the vamped up version to The Body Shop one just because of that. Again I feel like everyone could use this product and I've never encountered a person who hates the original formula. Another bonus - it has SPF :) which is always important :)

Top colour: Baby Lips, Bottom balm: Chocomania lip butter.

Tip
If you want to exfoliate your lips then I would mix whatever lip balm I am currently using with some sugar. I do this by loading up the lip balm on my lips already and then rubbing sugar on to my lips straight after (be sure to do this by the sink as it might get messy). The amount of sugar you put on is dependant on how strongly you want to exfoliate (a little sugar means a gentle exfoliation etc), you can cater this however you like.

Products I have (or will) repurchase

Hey guys :) 

So the amount of posts that I've done are starting to build up eh :) That's why I thought I should do this 'tag' in which I share to you what products I would buy again because, to me, that is a sure indicator of products that work and just get the job done :) 

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions 3-Step System (£25.00)

I have had this product twice, once last October (and it lasted through Christmas) and also right now, which I bought in late June (and is still going strong). I really like the simplicity of this product, it really does help with preventing more acne from coming. It's quite a strong treatment which honestly does make the severity of a breakout go away really quick. I noticed a difference on day 3, so I think if you need something strong that will work I would definitely go for this product. There are 3 Steps, the first is the Cleansing Foam (50ml)  (which is the first to finish), I personally don't like this as a cleanser because it doesn't remove my make-up so I will always use something before, also it foams for like two seconds and then disappears - making it hard to spend time actually massaging it into your skin. The second is the Clarifying Lotion (100ml) which I loove, you have to shake the product in order for the powder at the bottom to mix in with the solution, it works by drying your skin out so if you have dry skin anyway this might be a little too much. The third step is my absolute favourite product: the All-Over Clearing Treatment (30ml), this moisturiser is amazing, it's like a second skin because it is so lightweight and just sinks right in and it lasts forever because you need the tiniest amount :) I would recommend this to anyone who really has problematic skin, if not the whole kit then the lotion or the moisturiser. 

Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99)

I cannot even tell you how many of these I have bought in my lifetime LMFAO it literally is so many. I have been using this powder for over two years and I think it is time for me to look for another :) But I can say that this powder is excellent, it removes shine and oiliness and it is my handbag staple (that's why it's so battered up). If you want an inexpensive powder that works - try this :) 

Maybelline The Volum' Express Falsies Flared Mascara (£7.99/10ml)

I love this mascara, I really want to repurchase it because it's just amazing, it gives length and my eyelashes stay curled and it's just the love of my life. I haven't repurchased it yet because I am trying other mascaras but obviously you can tell that this one just calls to me and so I will repurchase it in the future for sure. If you just want a mascara that does everything amazingly then buy this, I think it is my dream mascara because I can't find anything that even is in the same league as it. 

M.A.C Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer (£15.50/7g)

This concealer is amazing, if you have red spots or just anything that you want to make the same colour as your skin then this product is for you. It is amazing because it gives an opaque coverage and the amount of shades that M.A.C provides means that everyone is able to find the right concealer in their skin tone. Mine hasn't ran out yet but when it does (which isn't any-time soon) then I will definitely repurchase it. I love the packaging because it is so travel friendly and good for touch-ups on the go. I would recommend this for everyone because it works for all skin-types.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark and Deep Brown (£3.99/200ml)

I have raved about this product multiple times for a full review click here. I love this product, it is literally a life saver and I can't live without it, sounds melodramatic but it's true - whenever it's not with me I will wash my hair everyday. I like the fact that it is colour specific because I don't believe it when some claim to be 'colour free' cause it's just not true at all. I can see the hint of colour that this gives me and I don't mind it because it's brown and not an ashy white. I've purchased more than 5 of these and I'm still hooked on it. 

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream (£5.00/30ml) 

This is one product that I don't think I have mentioned before but it is something I know I will stay loyal too (I haven't repurchased it yet). This, to me, is the perfect hand cream, it moisturises amazingly but is not greasy at all. I've never been a hand cream kinda girl because my hands are hardly ever dry, I don't know why, but then a few months ago that changed and so I bought this. It just does the job so well, I think it would fair well with the driest of hands too. If this is not in my handbag then it will be in my nail kit because it is perfect for pampering your hands before a manicure. I have so much love for this, I would recommend the 30ml size because it is travel friendly and I love the Almond scent too because it's pleasant without being overpowering.

Soap and Glory Foam Call Bath and Shower Wash (£6.50/500ml)

I've spoken about this before in my favourites and the reason it is also in this list is because it is amazinggg. I know I am definitely going to repurchase this when it runs out simply because it lasts for so long, hell I don't think I am even a quarter of the way down with my first bottle which I bought like 2 months ago. This is an ideal product for any university student like myself because it's just lovely to use, it smells nice and it foams! I love this and I think it is value for money. 

Revlon Nail Care Multi Care Base and Top Coat (£6.49/14ml)

This is a late addition to my list but one that should definitely be included, I never knew how important a base coat was until my nails started yellowing in April and immediately I bought this product (multi-use products always draw me in). I have never had that problem ever again, my nails are better than ever due to this, I love it. I have half a bottle left which is amazing since I bought it four months ago, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. This is the ideal base and top coat because it dries so fast and I would recommend this to everyone.

Every Girl Should Have: Teasing Comb

Hey Guys :)
So I have been loving thinking about products for this series of what I think every girl should have :) and today I am going to introduce you to a hair saviour, the teasing comb :)

I think every girl needs this - we all have those days where our hair isn't co-operating and just seems flat and lifeless, for me this usually happens on the day after I wash my hair, and dry shampoo can sometimes give volume but for me it doesn't hold it (especially if you have thick long hair, it's just too heavy). This product is a Godsend because it teases hair from the root, meaning the volume will stay longer, I also like how you have control over products like this, so I can control how 'big' I want my hair to look :p 

The end of the teasing comb is pointed which is also amazing as you can part your hair with ease - it's so useful, I cannot even express how long it took me to part my hair with my usual comb, but this really does it in seconds. 

I love this product, because it's cheap, fast and effective and I have no regrets for buying it :) I bought my Babyliss one from Amazon for £3.99, which you can buy here.

Skincare Saviours for Blemishes

Heey :)
So seeing as my last post was about my haircare saviour, I thought I would do one for skincare too since I have found some awesome things to help my skin be its best! I have oily skin and so battling against blemishes has been no stranger to me.  On to the recommendations.... :)

1) Clinique acne solutions all-over clearing treatment. (£18.50 by itself, I got mine with the 3 step Acne Kit).
This product has got to be one of my favourite moisturisers (Clinique in general just nail it when it come to moisturisers!). It honestly feels like a second skin when you apply it, which is awesome because it feels like it's not even there because it is so light and it's not greasy. I have had this product for around 8 months and I use it sparingly when I feel like my skin needs some help overnight and it honestly helps to control the problem. Let's just say I should probably buy another one since this one is on the verge of being finished - I think that's the best indicator to know if something has worked well :)

2) Michael Todd True Organics - Kaolin Clay Detoxifying Facial Mask. ($34.00).
I heard a lot of YouTubers raving about Michael Todd and so I thought I would try one of their regimen kits for oily/acne prone skin, although I wasn't that amazed by the whole kit, I really do love this mask. I use it once a week and my skin feels so clean and just so soft after. I also use it as a overnight spot treatment and it works because it dries the area so my blemish is visibly reduced by the next day. I only do this for one night because it is more of a short term solution than a long term one. The only downfall is that this product smells weird, I didn't like the smell when I first got it but now it reminds me a bit of Dettol :P

3) The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash (£5.00).
There is going to be a reoccurring theme in the next three products since they all contain Tea Tree :) This product is a new find for me, I purchased it when my skin was freaking out and within three days I noticed a difference in my skin. Tea Tree is awesome for calming down skin and because it's a face wash, you know that just by using this product twice a day you are doing something so simple to prevent future breakouts. The bottle is quite big too and so you are definitely getting your moneys worth with this product.

4) Lush - Tea Tree Water Toner Water (£3.95).

This is also a new find for me, I wanted a toner which would help my skin as well as tone it. I use the L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purify Micellar Solution to take off my make up before washing my face and then use the facial wash I mentioned above. However I didn't want to use the L'Oreal one to tone my face after as I felt that it would take away the Tea Tree I had just put on my face and so that's why I bought this product. I do really like this product as it is helping my skin in the way that I intended it too. I mentioned at the start that I have oily skin and I think Tea Tree in general dries my skin out which is an aspect that I reeeally like :) The bottle is really cute and the fact they do two sizes means that you can try it without committing to it. 

5) Witch Cleansing and Toning Wipes (£2.99).

I discovered this product when I went to Amsterdam last August, doing good skincare while travelling is pretty hard and so this product claimed to cleanse and tone and so I was immediately drawn in. I have never tried Witch products but mannnn this stuff is so good I can't even express it properly. I used this for 6 days straight in Amsterdam and my skin didn't break out once - my skin was perfect, it's crazy I know. I always keep myself topped up with this product because honestly it is that amazing, I use this occasionally to help my skin. I also use this on lazy days because I know it will work wonders on my skin which to me is a win-win situation. I feel like no other brand will impress me as much as this one product has done. Seriously - buy it. :P

My Hair Saviour - Dry shampoo

Hey :) 

So this post is kinda spontaneous and it came about because I was thinking about the one thing that I can't live without any more (beauty-wise :P). I have to say that I used to be one of those people who would wash their hair every single day because it used to get greasy by the end of the day or overnight. I didn't think it mattered that much since I like to shower in the morning anyway (because it wakes me up) but I have to say that I did used to miss out on more important things (like sleep LMFAO). Jokes aside, I absolutely love this product and it isssss the Batiste Dry Shampoo specifically the dark and deep brown one :) 

I've always been sceptical about dry shampoo, I mean you always hear the good side and the negative and I didn't know if it was going to work at all. I can tell you all now that I am not going to allow myself to run out of this product, it seriously has changed my life that much.

I have dark brown hair and so I really do appreciate the fact that this has a hint of colour and although I sometimes do see a bit of the colour - it doesn't bother me, I run my hands through it and that seems to do the trick for me. I only need to apply it once a day and it will last the entire day for me, although sometimes I do apply it again if I am going out later in the day just because that's me being self concious but honestly you don't need to even do that. Another hit for this product is that it seriously adds volume to your hair which I like because my second day hair is lifeless and so I feel like this product is a Godsend and I really am kicking myself for not picking it up earlier. It's really weird how this one bottle can make such a difference in my life. 

So to anyone who had any doubts - I would definitely buy this product and dry shampoo in general :)
